How does Chatterground work?
Every month, Hook streams four live research workshops targeting primary school children and parents (a total of 20 kids plus their parents). Chatterground participants are invited to log into these workshops and view our conversation – or, for those of you with busy work lives, you can just receive our expertly packaged insights afterwards!
The young people in these sessions are hand-selected each month to talk about the latest big issues and answer questions about key brands and products. We choose these questions in close feedback with Chatterground participants to ensure that we’re covering topics that matter to you and your teams.
Chatterground sessions are divided into two parts: in the first half of the workshops, we will explore the broader trends and topics that are impacting kids today. In the second half, we’ll ask more targeted questions – focusing on the brands, products, and behaviours of particular interest to brands participating in each session (we’ll develop these in close consultation with you).
The research sessions will be organised and moderated by award-winning kids’ experts Debbie Bray and Nick Fisher. Nick and Debbie have worked with Britain’s biggest brands to understand the kids and family audience better – from media owners such as CBBC, Cartoon Network and Disney, to big FMCG brands such as Pokemon, Ferrero and Mondelez.
